Description
The TL-1250 Headboard-Free Solid Wood Platform Bed is a masterclass in restraint. There is no headboard demanding attention, no decorative detail competing for focus — only the clean, horizontal lines of a low platform frame and the quietly extraordinary surface of solid Nanmu wood.
Nanmu is a timber of exceptional character. Its grain moves in fine, consistent waves that catch the light with a subtle lustre — a quality that makes the wood appear to glow from within rather than simply reflect. The warm, golden-green undertones of fresh Nanmu deepen over time into rich amber tones, making the TL-1250 a bed that becomes more beautiful with every year of ownership.
The headboard-free design is a deliberate architectural choice. Without a headboard, the wall behind the bed becomes part of the composition — a blank canvas for a single piece of art, a beam of morning light, or simply nothing at all. The bed sits low to the ground, expanding the visual space of the room and creating the sense of calm that Japandi design exists to achieve.
Built from solid Nanmu wood throughout with no veneers or shortcuts, the TL-1250 is designed to last a lifetime. Its platform construction distributes weight evenly and eliminates the need for a box spring, keeping the bedroom floor as uncluttered as the design itself.
