Solid Ash Wood Platform Bed TL-1235

Description

The TL-1235 Solid Ash Wood Platform Bed is a study in considered restraint. Ash wood is one of the most quietly beautiful of all hardwoods — its grain runs in long, straight lines with a fine, consistent texture that gives it an almost woven quality under certain light. It is pale and clean when new, deepening gradually into warm honey tones as it ages, making the TL-1235 a bed that evolves alongside the room it belongs to.

The headboard is proportioned to feel substantial without dominating. Its clean horizontal lines reference the language of Scandinavian furniture design — functional, resolved, and beautiful without ornamentation. It supports reading and resting equally well, sitting at precisely the right height for a 180 × 200 cm mattress.

The low-profile platform frame keeps the visual weight of the bed close to the ground, creating the sense of spaciousness and calm that Japandi interiors are built around. The slatted platform beneath distributes the mattress evenly and allows air circulation, protecting both the mattress and the timber beneath it for years of consistent performance.

Built from solid ash wood throughout with a natural protective coating that enhances rather than conceals the timber’s character, the TL-1235 is furniture made to last — an investment in a bedroom that will feel as considered in twenty years as it does today.
